As one that had been making their living in the Matrix that is corporate America, even though I knew I didn't feel right , it wasn't until I unplugged myself that I then truly saw the lack of humanity that I had experienced at the hands a profit driven machine that cared little for the ones that kept it gears turning. Our measure of worth is incredibly skewed and backwards. This is truth at its core!

Thank you for reading and for commenting! It's always good to hear when something lands for a reader. Writing - and publishing it out into the world- is such an incredibly vulnerable act. Every. Time. <3

My father taught me to see and value those who do the picking up of our human life. If I see someone cleaning a bathroom or picking up trash, I always thank them for their work.

We are all in this human life together. And each of us have worth beyond the dollar signs.

Yes yes yes! This! I'm so grateful you had a father to teach these lessons to you from the start. many of us have to come around out of snobbery into a wider vision. I'm going to try to remember to implement your practice of saying a thank you to the people you see doing the dirty work. <3
